Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, 13-week assignment
• Nights shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• 3 shifts per week, 12.5 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency room patients in a busy Level II trauma and comprehensive stroke center.
• Monitor and assess patients, perform emergency procedures, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Utilize advanced equipment such as GE monitors and Baxter pumps, documenting patient information in Cerner system.
• Apply patient experience best practices, including respectful communication and adherence to hospital policies.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered nurse, with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting.
• BLS and ACLS certifications prior to start date.
• Ability to work nights and adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Experience in trauma centers and high-volume EDs preferred.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience at a Level 2 trauma center and comprehensive stroke center.
• Knowledge of Cerner documentation system.
• Experience working in multicultural communities and handling diverse patient populations.
