Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the telemetry unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac telemetry, ensuring prompt response to changes.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.
- Support patient safety and comfort during their hospital stay.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Ability to work 12.5-hour night shifts.
- Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and medical telemetry skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Leadership or charge nurse experience.
- BSN degree.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system.
- Strong team-oriented and compassionate personality.
