Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time | Night shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for medical-surgical and telehealth units.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Follow established protocols for stroke and NIH training requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia nursing license or compact license.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required at the time of submittal.
• EPIC charting experience in acute care hospitals.
• Night shift availability and flexibility to float as needed.
• Must submit one supervisory reference (two for compliance).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent experience in stroke or neuro care units.
• Experience working within Riverside Health System facilities.
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required.
