Key Responsibilities

• Assist in surgical procedures within an acute care hospital setting
• Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and tools, including robotic systems and specialty cases such as eye, laparoscopic, and DaVinci Xi procedures
• Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols
• Support the surgical team during case cart setup and scrub duties
• Float as needed between hospital units and affiliated facilities (including potential assignments at nearby locations)
• Comply with hospital policies and safety standards during all procedures

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical tech experience
• Valid California surgical tech license (for applicable positions)
• BLS certification required
• Experience with robotic surgical systems like Mako Robot and DaVinci Xi preferred
• Ability to scrub for diverse surgical cases, including neonates, infants, and pediatric patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in assembling and wrapping surgical trays
• Familiarity with ophthalmic, laparoscopic, and eye case procedures
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hospital environment with floating responsibilities
