• Full-time, day shifts, 4x10 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care in the operating room across various specialties including robotics, general surgery, urology, gynecology, bariatrics, vascular, plastics, and thoracic cases.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and sterile environment, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare patients and facilitate smooth procedures.
• Respond to call shifts as scheduled, including weeknights and weekends, with a response time of 30 minutes.
• Support high-quality patient care, including preoperative and postoperative nursing duties.
• Float to other OR units at the First Hill Campus as needed, based on staffing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OR nursing experience.
• Valid Washington or Compact nursing license.
• BLS certification; ACLS and CNOR preferred.
• Ability to independently manage thoracic and vascular cases, including call responsibilities.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic surgeries and complex vascular or thoracic procedures.
• Strong knowledge of OR protocols and sterile techniques.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with variable schedules.
