- Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients, including preemies, ELBW babies, and surgical cases.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform assessments in a high-acuity environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float within the facility to pediatric, PICU, and full-term nursery units as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Maryland or Compact state nursing license.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience.
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Ability to work night shifts and support floating requirements.
- Experience caring for ELBW babies, preemies, and surgical NICU patients.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Level III NICU experience.
- Familiarity with caring for NAS and preterm infants.
- Ability to adapt to floating within various pediatric and neonatal units.
