• Full-time, Contract, Days shifts, 4 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in intermediate, progressive, or step-down units, managing multiple acuity levels.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, including dysrhythmia management.
• Administer medications, including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Assist with post-cardiac surgery patients, including those recovering from procedures such as CABG, TAVR, SAVR, MVR, and VATS.
• Utilize all private rooms with overhead lifts and advanced telemetry equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Active IN Registered Nurse license in hand prior to start.
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units.
• Valid ACLS and BLS certifications; NIH certification preferred.
• Ability to interpret and manage cardiac dysrhythmias.
• Experience with post-cardiac surgery care, including arterial line and central line management, blood product administration, and ventilator management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience in critical or step-down units.
• Familiarity with intra-aortic balloon pumps, VADs, and cardiac interventions such as cath procedures.
• Experience with advanced cardiac device management and complex patient care.
