• Registered Nurse - ICU
Location
• Seattle, WA
Schedule / Job Type
• Travel, Full-time, Night shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
• Assess patient condition and develop care plans for critically ill patients with conditions such as heart attack, stroke, trauma, or respiratory distress
• Administer medications, fluids, and advanced life support, including vent/trach care and use of medical equipment
• Monitor and operate ventilators, monitors, and other critical care devices, ensuring proper functioning and making necessary adjustments
• Collaborate with healthcare team members and respond to emergency situations following established protocols
• Provide patient advocacy, education, and support for patient families
• Assist physicians in procedures and care activities, and may care for pre- and post-operative patients
Required Qualifications
• WA RN license or multi-state RN license
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to application)
• Vent/trach care experience in a critical care setting
• Ability to float to LTAC units depending on census
Preferred Experience / Skills
• At least 1 year of ICU experience
• Experience working with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Strong critical care skills and ability to function efficiently in high-pressure environments
