• Full-time, 12-hour day and night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret dysrhythmias for patients undergoing chemotherapy or with soft tissue malignancies.
• Access ports, manage arterial lines, PICC lines, and central lines; assist with chest tube insertions/removals.
• Administer blood products and IV starts; operate Alaris pumps and GE telemetry monitors.
• Provide symptom management related to disease progression and treatment, including infection prevention and fall risk protocols.
• Support patient care activities with a focus on safety, comfort, and compliance using specialized equipment like Stryker beds and bladder scanners.
• Collaborate within a team, float between units of similar or lower acuity, and ensure quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of registered nurse experience
• Valid state or compact nursing license in hand at time of submission
• Current BLS certification
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage various IV access devices
• Knowledge of blood product administration and line care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with high flow nasal cannula (HFNC) and ABG interpretation
• Familiarity with Chest Tube management and the GE telemetry system
