- Full-time, Day shifts, 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopy procedures, including colonoscopies, ERCPs, and other GI interventions
- Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures using bedside monitors and EKG equipment
- Assist physicians with endoscopic procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort
- Document procedures and patient information accurately within the Expanse system
- Adapt to floating policies by providing support in local endoscopy or pre-op/PACU units as needed
- Support a small, family-oriented team dedicated to quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy or GI procedure nursing experience
- Active registered nurse license
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Experience with endoscopic procedural equipment and monitoring tools
- Ability to work scheduled shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with on-call, weekend, and after-hours availability
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with hospital documentation systems such as Expanse
- Experience working in an environment with patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
