Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care within the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory and Electrophysiology (EP) suite.
• Assist with and monitor cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Collaborate with medical teams to deliver high-quality cardiovascular care.
• Adhere to facility protocols and maintain sterile procedures during all interventions.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in electronic health records.
• Be available for on-call shifts during evenings and weekends as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience, with 2 years preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross.
• Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs.
• Positive references from a direct supervisor or manager.
• Must be Nicotine-free with a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiac cath lab or electrophysiology setting preferred.
• Experience working in a teaching hospital or Level Trauma center is a plus.
• Ergonomic knowledge of EPIC charting system.
