Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, night shifts, working 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care to surgical and orthopedic patients on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Manage a patient load with a typical ratio of 6:1, utilizing teamwork and effective communication
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and document in Meditech system
• Support bedside procedures and collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality care
• Float to inpatient units, including CCU and ED, as needed, handling diverse patient needs

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Kentucky or appropriate compact licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Ability to work night shift hours and adapt to rotating schedules

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with orthopedic or surgical rotations preferred
• Strong teamwork, communication, and patient care skills
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
