Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing for ICU patients with complex conditions including respiratory, stroke, neuro, GI, and cardiac diagnoses.
• Titrate multiple ICU drips such as propofol, precedex, vasopressors, and more.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; read patient strips proficiently.
• Collaborate with intensivists, pulmonologists, and support staff to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with all hospital protocols and standards.
• Support a team environment with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 or 1:1 for higher acuity patients.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Cerner EMR experience.
• Ability to titrate ICU-level drips and manage ventilatory equipment (vents, BiPAP, CPAP).
• Proficient in rhythm interpretation and bedside monitoring.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with Marshfield Hospital within the past 6 months.
• Experience supporting a high-acuity ICU environment with ventilated patients and complex medications.
• Knowledge of hospitalist or pulmonologist teams and in-house RT support.
