Registered Nurse - Telemetry
Location: Wichita, KS
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized nursing care to patients requiring telemetry monitoring.
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to arrhythmias and other critical changes.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and perform procedures such as managing central lines and medication drips.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Kansas.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in telemetry or critical care units.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Strong critical thinking and independent troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Meditech EMR system.
