• Full-time, days, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative patient care in the Operating Room, including prepping patients, reviewing histories, and reconciling medications.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status during post-anesthesia recovery and ensure safe discharge procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, anesthesia, and OR staff to deliver efficient and safe patient care in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist with procedures across specialties such as Orthopedics, Interventional Radiology, and Gastroenterology, ensuring compliance with protocols.
• Adhere to infection control, safety standards, and document patient care accurately.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina RN license or ability to obtain one (SC license prioritized).
• BLS certification.
• Radiation badge provided by employer.
• Minimum 1 year of operating room nursing experience.
• Certifications in specialty areas such as Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, ENT, GYN, GU, Endocrine, Surgical Oncology, Plastics, Robotics, Total Joints, or similar.
• Experience working in perioperative settings with well-rounded knowledge of relevant specialties.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in surgical units excluding general surgery, L&D, or pediatrics.
• Ability to float within scope to meet departmental needs.
• Comfortable working with a variety of surgical specialties and patient care within a high-volume OR environment.
