• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized NICU patient care in a hospital setting, assisting with cross-training efforts as the facility moves towards an LDRP model.
• Float to other units as needed, including Delivery/Mother/Baby units and providing sitters when necessary.
• Support the hospital’s evolving care model by assisting with staffing coverage during transition periods.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, including caring for incarcerated patients in a public hospital setting.
• Complete required certifications and compliance documentation prior to start date.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Tennessee or multi-state compact RN license, active and in good standing.
• Minimum of 1 year of NICU or relevant RN experience.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NRP, and STABLE.
• Ability to float across units and work night shifts reliably.
• Willingness to work with the prison population.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with L&D and cross-training in various hospital units.
• Prior experience working in a public hospital or facility with a prison population.
• Comfortable with variable assignments and floating across hospital units.
