- Full-time, contract (travel), 12-hour day shifts, working 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit, utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments following established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Document patient information accurately and in compliance with standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, including patient and family education.
- Participate in department quality improvement activities and support hospital initiatives.
- Apply clinical expertise and critical thinking to ensure patient safety and a positive care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Wisconsin Registered Nurse license.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and Influenza.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Medical Surgical unit.
- Ability to adapt to floating between units if required.
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
