• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nursing support, assisting with cross-training and coverage for delivery and maternal-baby units during the hospital's transition to an LDRP model.
• Float to other hospital units as needed, including potentially caring for incarcerated patients in a prison setting.
• Participate in orientation and training, including working scheduled shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM during the first week.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards, including compliance with all required certifications and licensing.
• Maintain up-to-date certifications such as BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and CPI (or MAB equivalent).

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience.
• Active TN state license or multi-state compact license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, CPI (or MAB), NRP, and STABLE.
• Ability to work night shifts (19:00 – 07:00).
• Comfortable caring for incarcerated patients and floating to different hospital units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with LDRP models or cross-training in delivery/maternity units.
• Willingness to float across various hospital departments as needed.
• Previous experience working in a public hospital or with prison populations is a plus.
