- Rotating shifts, full-time, 1 shift per week (additional details in shift schedule)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scans of various body parts for accurate interpretation.
- Apply radiation safety principles and professional judgment during procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and departmental documentation.
- Assist in equipment maintenance and quality assurance activities.
- Transfer and position patients safely for imaging procedures.
- Support and potentially learn additional imaging modalities such as MRI, ultrasounds, or mammography as directed.
Required Qualifications
- Current ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Clinical competency in diagnostic imaging within 3 months of hire and every three years thereafter.
- Ability to perform all diagnostic exams related to CT imaging.
- Willingness to work on-call and report within 20 minutes.
- Knowledge of sterile technique and contrast administration, including venipuncture.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ARRT certification in two or more modalities such as CT, MRI, Mammography, NM.
- Experience with invasive procedures and image transmission technology.
- Ability to adapt protocols for pediatric, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
- Familiarity with CT equipment maintenance and supply inventory management.
