Key Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, and psychosocial support
• Assist residents with meals, snacks, water, and supplements to ensure proper nutrition and hydration
• Support residents with transfers, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises using appropriate techniques and equipment
• Monitor, document, and report resident behaviors and cares in accordance with organizational policies and regulations
• Handle linens, soiled clothing, and supplies properly while adhering to hygiene practices and safety protocols

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the state
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 40 lbs
• Knowledge of basic documentation procedures and use of electronic medical records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities is a plus
• Familiarity with resident safety and transfer techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills and compassionate demeanor
