• Full-time, Day shifts, 5 shifts per week, 8 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions as delegated and supervised by a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Record treatments and monitor patient progress in medical records.
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents with disabilities, aiming to relieve pain, improve function, and support healing.
• Ensure all treatments follow an established plan of care.
• Support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers in therapeutic activities.
• Complete required documentation following organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy and patience in working with patients.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.
