Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location: Alexandria, LA

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, night shift (7 PM – 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients with conditions such as MI, CHF, Arrhythmias, PVD, and some med-surg overflow.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocol; monitor for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication administration, and care interventions.
• Assess learning needs of patients and family members; deliver education and support.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain compliance with nursing standards and organizational policies, demonstrating independence and clinical competence.

Required Qualifications:

• Current RN license in the state of employment or a compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from the AHA.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar clinical setting preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Epic EMR experience.
• Experience managing cardiac drips and complex patient cases.
