- Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pediatric catheterization and electrophysiology procedures with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Cover assigned cases, averaging approximately 4 cases per day
- Be available for on-call duties, with ability to be on site within 2 hours of call
- Maintain compliance with travel and licensing policies, including applying for necessary state licenses within specified timeframes
- Adhere to all hospital protocols and policies regarding patient safety, documentation, and shift coverage
- Participate in rotating weekend and holiday shifts as required, with at least one holiday guaranteed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years pediatric cath/EP experience in a clinical setting
- Valid state license at the time of submission; must apply for a DC license within 24-48 hours of offer if not already held
- Ability to be on site within 2 hours for on-call duties
- Recent experience in pediatric cath/EP procedures
- Must have references available upon request
- Must pass background checks and drug screening prior to start
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with pediatric critical care units such as NICU/PICU/CICU (float position)
- Knowledge of travel compliance requirements and licensing procedures
- Prior experience working in a hospital environment with a team-based approach
