Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to oncology patients, including chemotherapy administration
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and chemotherapy certification requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and adjust protocols as needed
- Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Certification in Fundamentals of Chemotherapy through the Oncology Nursing Society or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of oncology nursing experience
- Ability to work 8.5-hour shifts on dayshift schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a travel nursing role
- Strong knowledge of oncology treatment protocols and patient care standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
