Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 nights per week, full-time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the ICU, PCU, or stepdown unit, including monitoring high-acuity transplant, renal, and medical patients
• Administer medications, including IV insulin, vasoactive drips, blood products, and perform titration as needed
• Manage telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
• Support post-procedure recovery and patient stabilization, including procedures like biopsies and paracentesis
• Document patient care in EPIC and utilize Pyxis medication system
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure compliance with clinical protocols

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years RN experience in a stepdown or PCU setting
• Active Ohio RN license or a valid compact license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Experience with telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and high-acuity patient care

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with transplant, renal, or other high-acuity cases preferred
• Familiarity with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication system
• Experience managing vasoactive drips and central line care
