• Full-time, 4x10-hour day shifts, rotating shifts including 2x8 and 2x12 shifts, with call

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized cardiovascular operating room nursing care for CVOR patients during surgical procedures
• Assist in cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant surgeries in a Level I Trauma facility
• Ensure proper charting and documentation using EPIC system
• Participate in call rotations, including weekday evening and weekend shifts, with equitable distribution of call hours
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid compact or state RN license in Ohio or applicable state
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant nursing
• At least 1 year of CVOR experience
• 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Certifications: BLS, NIH-required CPR and emergency training
• Skills in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant nursing procedures
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with call coverage and shift flexibility
• Knowledge of hospital parking permit options and compliance requirements
