Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care to patients in a Level II Trauma Center.
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, Vapotherm.
- Assist in the management of ventilated patients, including procedures like intubation and airway management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Document patient care accurately within the electronic medical record system (Meditech).
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, ensuring high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience.
- NRP or STABLE certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center setting.
- Proficiency with Meditech EMR.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation.
