Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 3x12-hour shifts per week, nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), including every 3rd weekend and holidays as needed. Travel may be required across all Cone Health campuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient rehabilitation care for patients with neurological or surgical needs, including stroke, aneurysm, post-op surgical recovery, and general debility.
• Perform assessments such as interpretation of laboratory results, medication reconciliation, vital signs, and patient history documentation, including allergies and health questionnaires.
• Conduct dressing changes, set up aseptic/sterile procedures, and perform phlebotomy and specimen labeling.
• Manage telephone triage, pharmacy calls, and patient refill requests.
• Administer patient care in accordance with medical protocols, ensuring safety and compliance at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in good standing.
• Minimum one year of acute care rehab experience; no first-time travelers.
• BLS and EPIC experience required.
• Ability to interpret laboratory results, perform medication reconciliation, and assess vital signs.
• Experience with dressing changes, sterile procedures, phlebotomy, and specimen handling.
• Successful passing of a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance.
• Current driver's license (for local radius verification).
• Education verification through a third-party source.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Acute care rehab experience with neurological or surgical patient populations.
• Knowledge of inpatient rehab department procedures, including patient ratios (1:6).
• Experience with CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, and neurological diagnoses.
• Ability to float between different campuses and adapt to various care environments.
