Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title

• Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

• Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

• Part-time, 32 hours per week, Days shifts, 4 days/week (no weekends or holidays)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical patient care in the operating room setting, supporting various specialties such as Orthopedics, Plastics, General, Colorectal, and Gynecology.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to any changes during surgeries.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and perioperative procedures.
• Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and infection control policies.
• Assist in preparing operating rooms and sterilizing equipment as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a surgical or perioperative setting within the specialty.
• Valid and current AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Valid and current AHA ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• Experience in specialties including Orthopedics, Plastics, General Surgery, Colorectal, or Gynecology surgery.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in outpatient surgery centers or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative procedures and patient safety protocols.
