Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, long-term contract with potential for permanent conversion
- Days shifts, 5 days per week, some weekends required
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapeutic services to clients
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic activities
- Monitor patient progress and document sessions accurately
- Support patients in developing daily living and motor skills
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure quality patient care
Required Qualifications
- Current state licensure or certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and safety protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a long-term care or residential setting
- Flexibility to work some weekends as needed
