Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, days shift, 40 hours per week (5x8 schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies, including preparing, measuring, and administering radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist
• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on imaging cameras and radiation measurement equipment in accordance with hospital policies
• Follow radiation safety protocols during receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Organize daily workflow to ensure smooth, efficient, and timely completion of all ordered exams
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with hospital imaging procedures
• Adapt to new protocols and equipment as purchased, demonstrating flexibility and quick learning

Required Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB registration, or registry pending
• NDMIRT license or temporary license
• Recent travel experience in Nuclear Medicine required
• Knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and hospital information systems for proper procedure charging
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration
• Strong understanding of radiation safety practices
• Certification in NURSYS (full report required for RN candidates)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Experience with stress tests, HIDA, Bone scans, and PET/CT imaging is a plus but not required
• Ability to adapt to new protocols and equipment rapidly
• Experience working outside a 50-mile radius from the facility location
