Respiratory Therapist Technician – Nights

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift (18:30–07:00) | Three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours) | 15-week assignment | No guaranteed hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management across adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations

• Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilator therapy, including PB 980, PB 840, V60, and Para Pac Transport Vent equipment

• Deliver all aspects of respiratory care, including physician consulting and CPR

• Utilize computerized charting systems and Pyxis medication management in daily practice

Required Qualifications

• Active State of Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required prior to assignment start date

• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience; no first-time travelers accepted

• Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required

• Ability to care for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations

• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exemption required prior to contract start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential preferred

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
