Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | 36 Guaranteed Hours per Week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a cardiac telemetry stepdown unit with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:5–6
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms and cardiac readings continuously
• Administer cardiac medications and drips (no titration required)
• Float within service line as needed to meet facility demands
• Complete required weekend shifts (6 shifts per 6-week period)
• Document all patient care accurately using EPIC electronic health records

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in MO or a qualifying compact state (pending MO license submissions accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac telemetry or stepdown nursing experience
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• Demonstrated proficiency in telemetry rhythm interpretation
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility (no local travelers accepted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferred
• Experience with EPIC charting system
