Key Responsibilities

• Provide endoscopy and GI care in a hospital setting following established clinical protocols.
• Manage patient assessments, pre- and post-procedure care, and documentation.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Detail-oriented execution of assigned duties within the endoscopy department.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and infection control standards.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of perm Endoscopy/GI nursing experience.
• Ohio RN license or valid compact state RN license.
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Proven ability to recognize ECG rhythms accurately.
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate assessment (acceptable scores required).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working within the Cleveland Clinic health system or similar large hospital system.
• Prior experience with on-call responsibilities and weekend coverage.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within the team.

Additional Notes

• Work hours typically vary based on shift discussions during interview.
• On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday calls and 1-2 weekend calls every 6 weeks, with 24-hour weekend shifts.
• No weekend work unless called in.
