Respiratory Therapist – Pediatrics / Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services in a pediatric setting, including care for neonates and infants
• Perform respiratory assessments, treatments, and monitoring in alignment with facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams within a Magnet-designated, Level 1 Trauma teaching hospital environment
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
• Participate in holiday rotation and every-other-weekend scheduling as required
• Be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), staff and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification through the NBRC
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license — must be in hand at time of start
• Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Hands-on experience with pediatric, neonatal, and infant patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Epic electronic health records system
• Familiarity with float responsibilities across units based on scope of practice and experience level
