Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist – Travel Contract

Contract | Travel | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 13-Week Assignment | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the performance of cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology (EP), and interventional radiology (IR) procedures in a 5-room Cath Lab setting
• Operate and maintain Cath Lab equipment and supplies throughout procedures
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring patient safety and quality care throughout each procedure
• Document patient information and procedural data accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Participate in on-call rotation as required by the unit
• Collaborate effectively with unit secretaries, technologists, and clinical staff in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Cardiovascular Laboratory (CVL) Technologist certification required
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Hands-on experience with both Cath and EP procedures
• Ability to perform and support IR procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel assignment experience in a Cath Lab or similar acute care environment
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and function independently with minimal orientation
