Travel RN – Behavioral Health Emergency Department

Contract | Travel | Days | 13-Week Assignment | Shift: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to individuals presenting to the Behavioral Health Emergency Department
• Assess, monitor, and document patient condition and response to treatment throughout the shift
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient management
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients experiencing behavioral health crises
• Adhere to facility policies, protocols, and regulatory standards throughout the course of care

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
• Experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Ability to meet travel assignment requirements including onsite presence for the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Behavioral Health or Psychiatric Emergency Department environment
• Familiarity with behavioral health crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques
• Previous travel nursing experience
