Respiratory Therapist – Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required | Holiday Rotation Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across all areas of the hospital within scope of practice, including labor and delivery
• Deliver critical care respiratory support during night shift hours in an inpatient hospital setting
• Utilize Epic electronic health record system for clinical documentation
• Participate in holiday rotation schedule as required by facility
• Be available for potential assignment to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June through November)

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required; CRT candidates will not be considered
• Active South Carolina Respiratory Care Provider (SC RCP) license must be in hand at time of start
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, PALS, and NBRC (RRT) certifications — all must be in hand at time of start
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Recent critical care experience required
• Must reside more than 60 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to multiple hospital units, including labor and delivery
• Familiarity with Epic charting system
