Registered Nurse – Endoscopy/GI

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM) | Onsite | Every third weekend required | On-call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Endoscopy/GI procedure suite at a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during procedures
• Deliver pre-operative and discharge nursing care at ratios up to 4:1
• Participate in on-call assignments as required by facility needs
• Float within scope to meet facility needs on like units when necessary
• Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system
• Participate in emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June–November) as directed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI nursing experience
• Active South Carolina RN license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start date
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Ability to respond to the facility within 30 minutes when on call

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred; first-time travelers will be considered
• Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting
