Contract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts (shift start times vary between 6:30–7:30 AM) | On-Call Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiac Cath Lab and Electrophysiology setting
- Perform and assist with interventional cardiac procedures including STEMI interventions, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, thrombectomy, Rotablader, and Impella insertion
- Assist with pacemaker and defibrillator device placement and EP device utilization
- Participate in on-call rotation, including approximately 10 shifts per month with weekend call included
- Float within the hospital or to affiliate facilities as required
- Adhere to all facility compliance, scheduling, and holiday work requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand prior to start date
- Minimum 18 months of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Strong experience with interventional procedures and STEMI management
- Comfort and proficiency with EP devices
- Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Impella device insertion and management
- Familiarity with a broad range of cardiac interventional procedures including Rotablader and thrombectomy
- Prior travel nursing experience in a Cath Lab or EP environment
