Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday coverage as needed | No call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across all age groups in a high-acuity emergency department setting
• Manage and treat special care populations including cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health patients
• Support department operations within a facility that includes a cath lab, women's health services, and a stroke care program
• Respond to STEMI and stroke activations in accordance with facility protocols
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records required
• STEMI and Stroke facility experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam as part of compliance (2 attempts allowed; no study materials provided)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a facility with cath lab or women's health service lines
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
