Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery (Rapid Response)

Contract | Travel | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 6-Week Assignment | 48-Hour Weeks | Alternating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including SVDs, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
- Operate and interpret electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) equipment including Novii, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
- Utilize JADA and Fetal Pillow devices as indicated by patient care needs
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active RN licensure
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and S.T.A.B.L.E. certifications — must be included in submission packet
- Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification — must be included in submission packet
- Demonstrated competency in SVE and C-section circulation
- No special scheduling requests or requested time off considered for this rapid response assignment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Internal monitor placement competency
- Experience in a high-volume Level IV Labor & Delivery unit
- Team-oriented, positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills
