Key Responsibilities

• Partner with residents and care providers to create a safe and comfortable therapeutic environment through direct and indirect patient care
• Provide specialized care to Alzheimer's and dementia residents utilizing both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques and understanding behavioral expressions
• Deliver skilled nursing services on a transitional rehabilitation unit, including IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment and management
• Support long-term care residents requiring ongoing placement in a home-like environment
• Float to other units as needed to ensure consistent coverage across a 24/7 care setting
• Collaborate effectively within an interdisciplinary team of care providers

Required Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Valid State of Maine RN license or compact RN license in good standing
• Minimum of 1–3 years of RN experience
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Ability to work flexibly to support 24/7 coverage and float to other units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with medical terminology
• Prior experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute rehabilitation settings
• Experience working with Alzheimer's and dementia populations
