Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to medically appropriate units or support nursing care teams as assigned, which may include high-acuity areas
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the EPIC electronic health records system
• Work every other weekend and holiday as required

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (compact license accepted; any state RN license acceptable with ability to obtain temporary Ohio license)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Active ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• CPI, AVADE, or CalmEveryStorm certification required
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience floating across multiple units or campus locations
• Familiarity with high-risk respiratory or high-acuity patient populations
