Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Evenings (3x12-Hour Shifts, 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend and holiday availability required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float to medically appropriate units or support nursing care teams as directed, which may include high-acuity and respiratory units
• Complete required orientation modules and maintain compliance with annual training requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio Registered Nurse license (any state RN license acceptable; compact license accepted; temporary license available upon offer)
• Minimum of 1.5 years of Emergency Department experience
• Active ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
• CPI, AVADE, or CalmEveryStorm certification required
• EPIC electronic health record experience required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating across emergency or acute care specialty clusters
• Familiarity with high-risk respiratory or COVID-designated unit protocols
