Job Title

• Travel Registered Nurse - Rehab

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Days, 12-hour shifts, 12 weeks duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to patients in a rehab hospital unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and follow individualized care plans
• Administer medications and perform procedures such as wound care, line insertion, and blood/antibiotic administration
• Assist with patient education, goal setting, and hourly rounding to ensure optimal recovery outcomes
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech 5.6 system
• Adhere to unit policies, including use of appropriate uniforms and equipment such as Sara Steady lifts and Hoyer lifts

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification
• Inpatient acute rehab nursing experience
• Familiarity with FIM and CARE Tool measures
• Med/Surg nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in rehab units with private rooms set up as Rehab Suites
• Experience working with new equipment and advanced technology
• Strong team collaboration skills, with staff averaging over 4 years of RN experience
