Cath Lab Tech – Radiology/Cardiology

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days (4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | On-Call Required

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with 8–10 Cath Lab cases per day, including diagnostic and interventional procedures
• Demonstrate competency in all aspects of Cath Lab operations, including Structural procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend call coverage (Friday 7:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM, rotating first and backup call)
• Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes
• Document patient care and procedural information using Cerner electronic health record system
• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required, primarily remaining in the Cath Lab

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Competency in all aspects of Cath Lab Diagnostic, Interventional, and Structural procedures
• Active West Virginia state license required prior to assignment start (pending license accepted for submission)
• Active ARRT registration required
• BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Note: RCIS credential alone does not qualify as a licensed Cath Lab tech in West Virginia

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Level IV Trauma Center or major teaching hospital environment
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system
• Strong adaptability and ability to manage high daily case volumes
