Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care using the nursing process from admission through discharge
• Administer medications and perform treatments in a safe and accurate manner, and implement physician orders as written
• Provide patient and family education throughout the care continuum
• Notify physicians of pertinent observations and changes in patient status in a timely manner
• Maintain thorough, concise, and accurate documentation of the nursing process
• Direct co-workers and delegate role-appropriate tasks in the implementation of patient care

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required
• Valid Registered Nurse license to practice in the State of Ohio
• Current CPR certification required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities
• Demonstrated critical thinking skills and ability to make independent decisions

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous nursing experience, preferably in an Emergency Department setting
• Experience with problem-solving and facilitating resolution to clinical issues
