Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting
- Conduct PET scans; on-site training available for candidates with limited PET experience
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment in accordance with facility protocols
- Document and chart patient imaging data using Epic electronic health records system
- Float between facilities within the state as operationally required
- Participate in optional on-call shifts (Monday–Friday 4:30 AM–10:00 PM; Saturday–Sunday 6:00 AM–10:00 PM) with a 60-minute response time
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Active California state license required — no pending licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification required
- NMTCB or ARRT certification required
- LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
- Must disclose any license or background hits at time of submission; no open license hits will be approved
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior PET scan experience strongly preferred
- Previous experience with Epic charting system preferred
- Travel contract experience with at least 2 years of clinical experience preferred
