Travel Social Worker – Behavioral Health Unit

Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 12-Week Assignment | Full-Time, 5 Days per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide social work services on a locked inpatient Behavioral Health Unit with a caseload ratio of 10:1
- Participate as an active member of the interdisciplinary treatment team, contributing to patient care planning and coordination
- Conduct and document required assessments including PSA, PHQ9, and BHA screenings
- Facilitate two group therapy or psychoeducation sessions daily
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Accompany and support patients off-unit for ECT procedures as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Idaho state licensure as an LCSW or LMSW required at time of submission
- Minimum of 2 years of social work experience
- Experience in a behavioral health or inpatient psychiatric setting
- Ability to work business casual dress code standards
- Familiarity with Meditech or similar electronic health record documentation systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) designation strongly preferred over LMSW
- Prior experience working in a locked inpatient psychiatric or behavioral health unit
- Experience conducting group therapy sessions in an inpatient setting
